Welcome to the Curtin Security Upgrade Project web site. The Project commenced in 2006, and was initiated to improve security and safety on Curtin's premises by the use of more effective patrols, more effective locking of buildings, improved lighting, the use of CCTV cameras, and more campus assistance points.

The Project involves adopting the latest technologies to manage building security and access, as well as a CCFT system that includes CCTV, intercom points, and Contactless Smart Card technologies. Lighting upgrades across campus, and CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) principles will also play an important role in the planning of this project. The Project aims to:

CCTV Security Camera mounted on brick wall New CCTV cameras have been installed and are now in operation across the Robertson Library on Bentley Campus.

BusCurtin Security is currently extending the Courtesy Bus Service to include trips from the Hayman Road bus station to student housing.
