Welcome to Curtin Parking and Traffic. Here you find all the information you need concerning parking your car or motorcycle on campus.

Just a friendly reminder that the legal speed limits on campus are 30kph on the ring road, 10kph in all car parks or as signposted. Speed limits are in place to minimise the risks to pedestrians using the campus. To ensure these restrictions are followed the University has begun a campaign enforcing the campus speed limits by use of radar equipment and patrols. Infringement notices will be issued to the drivers of all vehicles who breach the legal speed limits. Please drive safely.

 


PARKING NEWS

Partial closure of Kent Street and P28 Temporary Car Parks
Construction for the University's new Recreation & Events Centre has commenced. A section of the Kent Street and P28 Temporary Car Parks will be unavailable for the duration of the works as they will be required as part of the contractors' compound.

Additional parking may be provided elsewhere if required.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience.

If you are interested in the new Recreation & Events Centre, visit Student Central (Building 101, Level 2) to view the plans on the display board.

Free Parking in Student Green Zones
During the end-of-year break, parking in the Student Green Zones is free for all non-permit holders.  Please note, all parking by-laws still apply for any vehicle parking illegally outside the Student Green Zone.

Permit Payment Options
Method A: In person at any Australia Post Branch.
Every student should receive a pre-printed application form before the commencement of semester. To receive your permit at the time of payment, simply visit one of the following Australia Post outlets:

Application Forms for student parking will be issued with student fees notice (via post). Contact Parking and Traffic Office to arrange a replacement.

Infringement Appeals
To be fair to permit holders, we must issue infringement notices. If there are genuine circumstances for why you could not abide by the conditions of your permit, you can appeal your fine online.
