Asset Management

It is the role of Asset Management to:
  • Provide financial management of the Properties allocation of the Asset Management Plan.
  • Develop and maintain the Properties Asset Replacement Plan.
  • Provide Properties-related public relations and marketing services.
  • Create, pursue and promote initiatives to achieve optimal use of space.
  • Manage the use of space.
  • Manage the University's property portfolio.
  • Develop, improve and provide systems and processes in the management and support of Properties-related information.
  • Provide security, parking and traffic services for the University.


Director's Office

Graham Arndt, Director of Asset ManagementThe director of the Asset Management area of Properties provides leadership for the department and ensures the department's activities are in line with the Strategic Objectives of Properties and the University.

Properties FinanceThe Finance team is responsible for providing financial services to Properties to optimise the use of the financial resources allocated to the Area. This includes financial reporting, monitoring, processing and budget planning.

Properties Corporate Reporting & PublicationsThe Properties Executive Officer is responsible for corporate reports, submissions, publications, benchmarking and committee documentation for Properties.

Properties Information Management and Systems SupportProperties Information Management & Systems Support provides services and resources to manage, support, communicate, publish and promote Properties' corporate information and Curtin campus information.

Property PortfolioProvides a service to Properties, and to the University in general, in the administrative management of the University's property portfolio.

Space OptimisationSpace Optimisation (which includes the Venues Office) manages the use of spaces on campus, and provides a service to the Curtin community and the general public in the booking and hiring of Bentley campus facilities (lecture theatres, rooms and sporting facilities) on behalf of Properties.

Parking & Traffic

Parking And TrafficThe Parking and Traffic Office seeks to provide the facilities and environment necessary for teaching, research and administration at Curtin. They complement this aim by striving to achieve an orderly use of roads and parking areas for all students, academic staff, general staff, visitors and commercial organisations.

Curtin SecurityCurtin Security's activities strive to provide a safe and secure environment for the University population and to protect University property.
